Lazise - Economy
The main economic activity is for Lazise, like all the towns on Lake Garda, tourism. It began to develop in the nineteen fifties and many people are still attracted not only by the culture and by the sports that can be practised here but also by the closeness to the most important fun parks in Italy. Other sources of income are the production of oil, wine, cured meats and shoes and there are also some small manufacturing companies. At one time fishing was also important but nowadays fishing families are few and far between.
